The village of Folsom is home to what many of the COAST members who meet in the Magnolia Park facility call their "home away from home." We serve residents age 60+ with services designed to help maintain and enhance their quality of life and independence. The center provides individual and group activities that focus on social interaction and the well-being of each of its members. Some of the activities include exercise class twice a week led by an instructor from the YMCA, bingo, beanbag baseball, adult coloring, word search, and jig saw puzzles. Also offered is live music, crafts, and games directed by voluntary outside sources. Here at the Folsom center we are fortunate to have the use of the park's gymnasium so that the members can walk and exercise, come rain or shine. COAST's certified nutritionist routinely presents timely topics to help maintain the members nutritional health. A nutritious midday meal is offered five days a week, excluding holidays.
